Pest infestation on stored goods is common, and its prevention is necessary to avoid a costly loss from deterioration brought on by pests (beetles, mites, moths, weevils, etc.). The best method for preventing pest infestation is fumigation, in which a gaseous pesticide (fumigant) is filled in the affected area to smother or kill the pests there. However, the appropriate amount of fumigants in relation to the size/area and level of infestation determines the effectiveness of the fumigation service.
